Wedding Dress Conversion into an Heirloom Christening Gown

There is a lovely tradition for babies to wear a Christening Gown or Romper Suit made from the Mother's or Grandmother's wedding gown. This is a rather unique way to use a bridal gown that will otherwise remain stored in a box or cupboard for years to come.

Susan Lawson offers you a unique and bespoke service to convert your Wedding Gown into a Christening Gown or Christening Romper complete with matching accessories.

You can choose either to have a bespoke gown or a gown from my collection using your wedding dress material.

The procedure is simple:

After a discussion on the telephone, I will ask you to mail the gown to me by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Do not cut up your wedding gown, just pack it into a parcel and post.  I will return the all leftover pieces to you and keep specific parts of the gown intact if you wish.

The ideal gown is either an A-line or a full skirt style gown, other styles can be accommodated please telephone me to discuss the finer details.
